by Phil Slater, Tomorrow’s Business Publishing, Wellington, NZ ISBN – 0-473-11178-0
There are not many retail management books that come out of New Zealand and therefore it’s great to find a book from that part of the world. The bookstore shelves are full of books on customer service and you have to ask will another one add value for the retailer. This book takes a different view, instead of focusing on the positive; it focuses on the negative….bad customer service. (more…)

How to be a Legend in other Peoples Minds!By John Stanley on July 19, 2007 | No Comments
Great title isn’t it ….. it caught my eye and every one elses in the office.
This is a 3 C.D. Audio program on how to develop your business to ensure your potential customer and exciting customers look at yours as their first port of call when looking for a service or products based on what you do. The C.D.’s are split up into 27 tracks which means you can easily clip in and out of the program. In fact, listenng to all the ideas at once maybe a bit mind blowing.
For those of you who do not know Winston Marsh, he is based in Melbourne, Australia and is recognised as one of the best speakers in the country on business marketing.
The ideas on this presentation are very practical and very do-able. If you are starting off in business I would say this is a must have product for your management library if your well established in your business this is an excellent check to make sure you are staying on the right track.
Do you want to be a legend, with, as Winston would say, your customers rather than with your mother, this this audio program is one for you.
